In April 2020 I was accepted into the Creator Institute, founded by Georgetown Professor Eric Koester. Professor Koester guided me for a year as I wrote and then published my book through New Degrees Press. I worked with an impressive team of developmental editors, acquiring editors, marketing and revisions editors, copy editors, cover and layout designers, and more. After writing the first manuscript, I drafted a marketing plan and raised $5,000 in pre-orders. I designed and art directed my own book cover (with the assistance of talented designer Agata Wawryniuk).
The process was long and arduous—an emotional roller coaster—but I learned valuable lessons that I will carry with me forever. I am excited and honored to contribute my story to a great pool of meaning.
